Happy birthday to me!

I’ll be honest: while I liked the theme I used, I was never really happy with how this blog looked. The theme itself was fine, but the graphics I made just weren’t there. Yet despite my unhappiness with how things looked, I left things be because I had neither the time nor the energy. Or, quite frankly, the talent.

In my head, I thought, “Better to use what little free time I had for reading books and writing reviews.”

But with my nursing degree completed and RN licensure on its way, I decided to take the leap.

And thus, change is here!

Thank you so much to Kat @ Waffley Cute Designs for these new and stunning graphics! I still can’t get over these designs; they’re so beautiful. My heart goes boom every time I look at what Kat created for me. Here is my vision come to life, finally.

These new graphics combined with this new theme by BlogPixie, a new era begins.

So, what happens now?

Well, I’m going to go celebrate my birthday safely. No studying — well, maybe I’ll do 20 questions on UWorld. As long as it’s a beautiful and sunny Sunday, I may also walk around Central Park or visit the Met if it’s open and I can get tickets.

After January 24th, I’ll have 15 more days until I take the NCLEX-RN.

But once that test is submitted, I’m going to be posting new content once again!

Bookish content and more!

I enjoy being a book blogger. It is cathartic to be able to talk books, both good and not so great. Moon & Coffee will always be my space to talk about books and everything related to books and writing. That will never change. However, I have other interests besides books and writing that I want to share.

So in addition to bookish content, I will also include nursing, travel, history, and lifestyle content. I already have a few things in mind, especially nursing related.

There are a few changes in regards to how I structure my book reviews as well as my book rating policy. I highly encourage you check both pages out.
